A newly discovered cave in Kueng Kan province, Thailand has a surface similar to the scales of the legendary giant Naga snake.
In May 2020, a facebook user named Ord Thanawanij posted some cave photos in Bueng Khong Long district, Bueng Kan province, more than 700km from Bangkok (Thailand). What made this cave quickly famous is that it resembles the legendary Naga giant snake. The surface of the cave is also rough, like snake scales.
The Provincial Public Relations Department quickly spoke about this snake cave. Officials confirmed that the pictures of the snake’s head and body were not from the same cave. The snake head belongs to a cave located in Oudomxay province, Laos. The cave with the shape of snake scales is located in a forest in Phu Langka National Park, Bueong Khong Long District, Bueng Kan Province, nearly 700km from Oudomxay.
The area where the cave was discovered as shown in the photo is a difficult, dangerous place to reach. During COVID-19, Phu Lanka National Park does not allow visitors to visit. This place said that they will organize ticket collection in the future, when the pandemic is under control.
